by perforated pipe from within the spring and will be transported via 50,000
[sic] feet pf 1-1/2 inch PVC pipe with a gravity fall of about 300 feet to
a 40,000 gallon redwood storage tank located between the two ranch houses.
The project was completed in" 09/1972 "...The project is located in the lower
hills of the Mendocino National Forest about 4-1/2 miles west of the Stony
Gorge Reservoir. The point of diversion is situated on private land within
the forest boundary, and will not conflict with any of their land
management proposals. The spring, elevation 1,600 feet, feeds an
intermittent stream which flows through applicants' land. The area of use
is located about a mile east of the spring along Ivory Mill Road at
elevations around 1,120 feet. The Diamond M Ranch landing strip is
located in a small valley a half mile southwest of the project. Vegetation
relative to the immediate area is primarily scrub, grasses, and brushwoods.

Orland Water Users Association about 4 miles away. Applicant has reported
there are several Indian mounds in the area."
