This cause came on to be heard on this 13th day of January, 1930, upon the motion of plaintiff asking that the report of the Master pro hac vice now on file herein, be approved and adopted, that his Findings of Fact and Conclusions of law as embodied in said report become the Findings of Fact and Conclusions of law herein, and that the Court thereupon make and enter its decree in form, substance, and effect as set down in the suggested decree and amendments thereof with said report; Olive P. Morton, Special Assistant to theAttorney General, and Richard J. Coffey, District Counsel, United States Reclamation Bureau appearing for plaintiff, and H.W. McGowan, Esq., of Willows, California, for certain of the defendants; whereupon the following proceedings were had and taken:

Solicitor, Oliver P. Morton, after briefly describing the steps taken in the cause, first made reference to the recommendation in the Master's said report that the petition of plaintiff in the matter of Stonyford Catholic Church be granted, and in that regard submitted a form of order for approval by the Court, which was duly signed and filed.

Solicitor, H.W. McGowan of Willows, California, thereupon made reference to the recommendation in said Master's report that the petition of defendants, GEORGE W. SUTLIFF, BRUCE H. SUTLIFF, EMILY A. SUTLIFF, ELLIS A. SUTLIFF and LAURA BELL GRIFFITH, be approved; a form of order to that end being thereupon submitted and duly entered and filed.

Solicitor for plaintiff, having orally moved the Court that the said Master's report be approved as aforesaid, and it appearing of record that due notice of said motion had been given to defendants and their solicitors, and the Court having considered the same and being advised in the premises did thereupon make its order as follows:

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the report of the Master pro hac vice as now on file herein, be approved and adopted; that his Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law, as embodied in said report, be and become the Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law herein, and that the allocation of the costs to the various parties of the proceedings before the Master, as defined and described in his said report, be, and the same is hereby approved; that as to the balance of such costs shown in said report to be further due from the parties, to-wit: the sum of $34.00 due reporter EMMET HEALY; $41.40 due reporter JOSEPH E. PIPHER; $14.50 due reporter DOROTHY H. ANGLE, and $383.25 due the Master pro hac vice for his compensation and traveling expense, be assessed to certain of the parties herein, and paid by them to said Master pro hac vice for appropriate distribution to those entitled thereto as follows:

United States of America to pay $360.00 of the $383.25 due the Master;
George W. Sutliff, )
Bruce H. Sutliff, (
Emily A. Sutliff, )
Ellis A. Sutliff, (
Laura Bell Griffith, ) to pay $113.15, made up of the balance of $23.25 due the Master, and the sums aforesaid due the reporters.

Solicitor for plaintiff thereupon advised the Court that the United States, acting through the Department of Justice, had authorized and provided for the printing of the suggested form of decree, with the amendments made in the course of the proceedings before the master in a convenient sized volume, and, in accord with plaintiff's motion, offered same to the Court for its use in the making and entry of the decree herein.

Whereupon the Court, upon consideration thereof and being advised in the premises, signed said decree [Is that the copy with the printed date of Janaury 13, 1930 and the printed name Frank H. Kerrigan"? otherwise, WHERE IS IT?] and directed that the clerk enter the same in accord with the rules.
